20th / 21st February - Major Works A80/M73 Junction 3 Mollinsburn.

Over the weekend 20th/21st February 2010 Major works will take place at the above location.
This entails the lifting and positioning of bridge beams over the A80 at Mollinsburn.

To accommodate these works the following traffic management will be in place.
Between 08.00hrs and 20.00hrs on Saturday 20th February 2010 there will be a lane one closure Northbound on the A80 at Mollinsburn to allow for preparation of the crane and associated vehicles.

Between 21.00hrs Saturday and 08.00hrs Sunday 21st February 2010 a 1+1 contraflow will operate on the Southbound carriageway controlled by a three way set of traffic signals at its junction with the M73 There will be two phases of the lights 1 A80 contraflow 2 M73. This will allow the bridge beams to be lifted into place.

After completion of the beam lift the traffic lights will be removed and the A80 will revert to the lane one closure on the Northbound with the Southbound running as normal to allow the removal of the crane and associated vehicles. Once this has been completed the closure will be removed and traffic lanes will run as normal.

During these this time delays are expected on the A80, M876 and M80 approaches and drivers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow plenty of time.
