Sportsman's Dinner tickets go on sale!
[return]
We are delighted to announce a fantastic line-up for our forthcoming Sportsman's Dinner which will be held in the Greenock Town Hall on 15th May 2010 with all the proceeds going towards the costs of our youth football.
The dinner kicks off at 6.30pm for 7.00pm and the dress code is lounge suits.
Due to popular demand our MC for the evening is Radio Clyde’s Superscoreboard Anchorman, Peter Martin.
Peter is a top football commentator and with his superb turn of wit is guaranteed to keep everyone firmly on their toes during the entire evening!
The principal speaker is the fantastic award winning raconteur John Gahagan. John spent four years at Morton after being signed by Alan McGraw 1n 1990 and played in midfield 75 times for the Ton!
His after dinner speaking performances are legendary and John travels the world making people laugh.
Jonathan Watson (Only an Excuse) is one of Scotland’s top comedians and has become legendary as the voices and faces of many footballing stars and pundits including Kenny Dalgleish, Frank McAvennie and Sir Alex Ferguson.
Jonathan along with his writer/producer Philip Differ have written a few special sketches for the evening.
This is a massive coup to get Jonathan on board as he doesn’t normally get the time to do this type of work anymore!
Finally Frank McAvennie makes up the fantastic line-up and along with Jonathan, John and Peter the floor will be open for a Q&A which will have us all roaring with laughter!
Tickets are priced at £50 each and tables will be booked on a first come best location basis and we would urge anyone who wants a top night of quality entertainment to book their tickets very quickly.
Tickets are available by post and available shortly on line at www.gmfc.net.
Many thanks and good luck!
