Youth Update [return]

I would like to thank all the boys and their parents who took the time to attend the open trials for the Under 15 age group held on Sunday 8th August 2010 at the Battery Park. I would also take this opportunity to thank the many club coaches who co-operated with Greenock Morton F.C. and allowed their boys to attend.

Unfortunately, after discussion with the management team and coaches, it was decided not to run an Under 15's team at the Club this season - this decision was taken in view of the relatively short time scale available to put together a team to compete in the Glasgow and District Youth League. We have, however contacted all of the boys who impressed on the day of the trials and assured them that their progress will be monitored throughout the coming season by the scouts we now have in place.

The Under 17's and Under 19's teams will be taking part in the S.F.L. Leagues this season, and you can keep up to date with their matches and results through the website by clicking on the "Fixtures" tab, and then choosing Under 17's or Under 19's.
