The away support will be seated in the away section of the Rosefield Family Stand. Morton fans will enter via turnstiles 3 and 4. Wheelchair users, who must pay although carers are admitted free of charge, can enter via a door next to turnstiles 3 and 4.

Smoking, which includes E-cigarettes, is not permitted within Palmerston.

Queen of the South have a flag and banner policy: surfing flags are banned, flags must be on a cane less than 3ft in length, and banners must have a valid fire approval certificate and will be inspected prior to admission. Banners will be displayed in an unoccupied section of the ground and not in the stand.

Prices

Entry is by ticket and these can be purchased from the ticket office next to the stand and admission is: £16 for adults, £9 for concessions and £5 for Under-16s.

Travel

Travel by Road: For those using sat nav, the address and postcode is: DG2 9BA. In terms of roadworks, Traffic Scotland has issued the following information: If travelling to Dumfries via M74 ongoing long terms works in the Baillieston/Hamilton area may cause some delays.

If using A78 roadworks at Skelmorlie (temporary lights) and A78 at Largs (temporary lights) some delays are possible. The A75/A76 at Glasgow Road, Dumfries has temporary lights and again allow some extra time in the event of delays.

Travel by Rail: There are two alternative routes from Glasgow: direct via Virgin Trains’ London Euston Service to Carlisle and change for the Dumfries connection, or direct to Dumfries. Travel time in both cases is over two hours and Dumfires station is around a 20 to 30 minute walk from the ground.

Parking

Supporters coaches can drop off and pick up on King Street, next to the ground. If there are no parking facilities for buses near the ice rink then stewards will direct to a nearby industrial estate. Drivers must be in place at pick up points for the game ending,

Car parking is available on street, no restrictions, or at the nearby ice rink. If parking at the ice rink, please note this is at the away end of the ground.

Travel Club Info

The Albert Hotel Morton Supporters’ bus for the Scottish Championship match against Queen of the South will leave the Torpedo Factory Club in Gourock at 12.00pm and pick ups are available en-route on request as always.

Please note the club will be open from 11am and there is free parking in the car park next to the club, which can be accessed via Chalmers Street or Tarbet Street. All monies must be paid in the club before boarding the bus.

Bookings are also being taken for the Betfred Cup semi-final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park on Saturday 22 October. All seats have to be prepaid to guarantee seats. Payments can be made before the bus leaves for Dumfries on Saturday.
