Betfred Cup venues and dates confirmed
We will host Queen’s Park and Edinburgh City here at Cappielow and travel away to Berwick Rangers and Motherwell in our Betfred Cup group section, it was today confirmed.
The SPFL this afternoon revealed the fixtures for the 2017/18 tournament, and Jim Duffy’s side get their competitive campaign underway on Saturday 15 July with a trip to Shielfield Park to face League Two Berwick.
They then welcome Queen’s Park to Cappielow three days later on Tuesday 18 July with a 7.45pm kick-off before the showdown between Group F’s seeded sides at Fir Park on Saturday 22 July.
The Ton have a free midweek and then bring down the curtain on the section by welcoming Edinburgh City to Cappielow for their first ever competitive visit on Saturday 29 July.
