Derek eager to shut out Dundee United

Goalkeeper Derek Gaston hopes to add another notch to his clean sheet tally against Dundee United at Cappielow on Saturday and help correct last weekend’s disappointing defeat at Dunfermline Athletic.

The shot-stopper recently surpassed 1922 Scottish Cup-winning custodian Dave Edwards in the club’s list of record shutout holders, moving up into fifth position with a total of 66 after keeping out Ayr and Peterhead.

But after conceding three goals last weekend, Gaston says it’s imperative that Ton tighten up again and keep Robbie Neilson’s side at bay as they bid to bounce back from a poor performance in Fife.
