Duffy: Late lapse saw win slip through our grasp

Manager Jim Duffy was gutted to see his side allow three points to slip through the palm of their hand after a lapse of concentration saw them concede a stoppage time equaliser against Livingston.

Gary Oliver looked to have earned the Ton a win against David Hopkin’s men with an 88th-minute goal, but Jackson Longridge snatched a draw with the last kick of the ball.

Although he was bitterly disappointed by the outcome, the Greenock gaffer was also pleased with his players’ performance levels, particularly the way his squad responded to Saturday’s 3-1 loss at Falkirk.
