Duffy: Ton unfazed by third successive away trip

Manager Jim Duffy insists Morton are unfazed by their remarkable run of away fixtures and says positive results go a long way to establishing a positive mindset within the squad no matter where they are playing.

Last Saturday’s match at Queen of the South was the beginning of a stretch of seven out of eight matches on the road due to a combination of postponements, the fixture card, and the luck of Scottish Cup draws.

The Cappielow club drew with the Doonhamers and followed that up with a 1-0 win at Dumbarton, and Duffy maintains there is an ebullient mood amongst the players ahead of this weekend’s trek north to play Inverness.

Duffy also talks agreeing an emergency loan deal with the Highland outfit to bring John Baird to Greenock and gives an injury update.
