Gats glad to help earn draw by denying Dobbie

Goalkeeper Derek Gaston says he was just happy to play his part in securing a precious away point after producing a stunning save to deny Stephen Dobbie in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Queen of the South.

The shot-stopper – who was adamant the ball had not crossed line before it was proven by footage – admits the team had a bit of an off-day overall and was glad he could contribute and repay his defence for recent displays.
