Johansson: I feel for the fans after cup exit

Manager Jonatan Johansson has admitted that the club’s supporters have the right to be angry at Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup exit.

Bob McHugh fired the Ton in front away at East Fife at the weekend, but the in-form League One outfit fought back from behind to book their place in the fifth round thanks to goals from Anton Dowds and Craig Watson.

The Greenock gaffer felt his side were in control of the game and put the defeat down to conceding two avoidable goals from set-plays, adding that he understood the frustration shown by the travelling fans at the result.
