Kilday: It’s great to be back playing for Morton

Defender Lee Kilday says it is great to be back playing for Morton after an injury-laden 2017/18 season saw him go 15 months without making an appearance at Cappielow.

The 26-year-old, who expects the margins to be wafer thin in the 2018/19 Ladbrokes Championship campaign and so reckons it could prove vital to start the season well, is thrilled to be pulling on the Ton jersey again.

Kilday also gives his thoughts on tomorrow’s opponents Queen of the South, reaching 120 appearances, keeping consecutive clean sheets in the Betfred Cup, and playing alongside new defensive partners.
