Kilmarnock midfielder Greg Kiltie Joins on Loan

Greenock Morton are delighted to announce that Kilmarnock midfielder Greg Kiltie has today signed on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old, who played against the Ton for Killie in a League Cup group stage fixture at Rugby Park back in July 2016, has made six appearances for the Rugby Park outfit this term.

The Scotland youth international is considered one of the brightest young talents in the Scottish game and is a player who has consistently caught the eye of manager Jonatan Johansson.

The Ton boss told gmfc.net “I’m delighted that I’ve been given the chance to bring Greg Kiltie to the club. Greg is a player that I have been looking to bring in since the start of the window and it’s great to finally get it over the line

“He is a player that I know will excite the fans and the type of player we have been missing. He shows real creativity on the ball and can play on either wing or behind the striker.

“He’s represented Scotland at all youth levels and he was one of the youngest players in history to make his competitive debut for Kilmarnock.

“I’ve been impressed with Greg’s desire to come and play for Greenock Morton and my thanks go to Kilmarnock for allowing Greg to come here for the rest of the season and I’m sure our supporters will welcome him ahead of Saturday.”
