Lewis Strapp signs one-year contract extension

We are delighted to report that left-back Lewis Strapp has today penned a one-year contract extension to commit himself to the club until 10 June 2019.

Dunoon-born Lewis joined our youth academy upon its inception 2012, progressing through the ranks before earning his first professional deal in December 2015, shortly after his 16th birthday.

His senior debut followed at the beginning of the 2016/17 season when he was handed his first start in a Betfred Cup Group tie away at Albion Rovers.

The 18-year-old made a further six Ton appearances either side of a loan spell with League Two Elgin City last term to take him up to a total of seven starts and four substitute outings for the club.

His decision to sign on for another Cappielow campaign brings new manager Ray McKinnon’s first-team squad up to 14 signed players.
