Millar: JJ is a forward-thinking appointment

Midfielder Chris Millar says Morton have gained a modern European manager in Jonatan Johansson and believes it was progressive appointment by the club.

The 35-year-old was a team-mate of Johansson’s at St Johnstone in season 2009/10 and travelled to training together on a daily basis.

Millar says it was always obvious that the former Finland international would go into managment and feels he has the qualities required to be a successful first-team boss in 2018.

The 35-year-old also gives an insight into what to expect in terms of a playing style, discusses how Johansson’s appointment was received by the squad, how training has gone this week, and tomorrow’s against Dundee United.
