Millar ready to create more career memories

Midfielder Chris Millar says he is over a recent groin injury and ready to make more memories when Morton meet Peterhead in the William Hill Scottish Cup at Cappielow tomorrow.

The 35-year-old lifted the coveted trophy during his decade at St Johnstone and says his winners’ medal from that 2014 success is one of his prized possessions.

As well as setting his sights on another memorable Scottish Cup run this season, Millar is also keen to enjoy more success against the Blue Toon having played when Ton beat them to win the Third Division in 2003.

Millar also talks going up against his former Morton manager Jim McInally, a First Division play-off loss to Peterhead in 2006, and his chances of facing them tomorrow after three weeks out with a groin injury.
