Morton in Europe – read all about it

Tomorrow is the 49th anniversary of the second leg of our one and only European appearance – and you can read all about it in our matchday magazine for this weekend’s Ladbrokes Championship fixture against Falkirk.

On Monday 30th September 1968, Morton hosted Chelsea in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup – the forerunner to the UEFA Cup and current Europa League – after losing 5-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.

Learn about the unforgettable return match in Greenock by picking up a copy of this Saturday’s programme as long-time contributor Gilbert McCracken takes his fortnightly walk down memory lane.

Our new-look glossy 48-page programme, designed and printed by top publishers Curtis Sport and priced at £3, is proving extremely popular with supporters.

As well as our Memory Matches feature, Liam Bryce speaks with Jai Quitongo while Gareth Ewing catches up with Mark McGraw in exclusive interviews in another packed edition.
