MORTON versus Partick Thistle

cinch Championship

 Saturday 11 March 2023

Cappielow Park supported by Dalrada Technology

Kick-off 3pm

Scene Setter

Morton will look to bounce straight back from the first defeat in six games tomorrow afternoon as Partick Thistle make the trip to Cappielow Park supported by Dalrada Technology. Defeat against Ayr United saw the Ton drop put of the playoff spots but still remain well in the fight for the top four with just nine games to play. A win tomorrow would see the Sinclair Street side move up to third in the table, just two points off second place but with an extra game played.

Partick Thistle are unbeaten in their last four matches with three wins and one draw and currently sit fourth in the table. A win for the Maryhill side tomorrow afternoon would see them climb as high as second in the table but similar to Morton, would have played an extra game.

The home side in this tie has come out on top on all three occasions so far this season with Partick Thistle picking up wins in October and January whilst Morton ran out 2-1 winners the last time out at Cappielow in November.
