Players showed spirit to draw despite display

Jonatan Johansson admitted he was unhappy with aspects of his team’s performance against Dunfermline on Saturday but also insisted he was pleased by the fact they fought back from behind to take a point.

Half-time substitute Scott Tiffoney cancelled out Andy Ryan’s 68th-minute opener as the Ton drew 1-1 with the Pars in the 43-year-old’s first home game in charge.

Although Johansson was dissatisfied with the shape and said there was a lethargy in the pressing and negativity in the passing, he praised the work rate, effort, and the way his side defended their box.

He also revealed Jack Iredale suffered an injury, discusses changes to his system in order to address a failure to pick up balls in midfield, and admits Chris Millar was missed in the middle of the park.
