Quitongo picks up first Scotland Under-21 cap

Morton striker Jai Quitongo picked up his first Scotland Under-21 cap as a substitute in an afternoon friendly against Slovakia in Myjava earlier today.

The teenager was named as a substitute but replaced Celtic’s Liam Henderson at the break as Scot Gemmill’s side suffered a 4-0 reverse.

Quitongo, 19, was joined in the squad by Cappielow team-mate Aidan Nesbitt, and the Celtic loanee also appeared off the bench, coming on for Chris Cadden on 67 minutes.
