Read All About It: Charlie Brown, record breaker

Ben Docherty recently made his first Development Squad start at just 15 years old – and you can read all about the occasion Charlie Brown made his senior debut at the same age in tomorrow’s matchday magazine.

On Wednesday 25th August 1971, midfielder Brown was selected in the starting line-up for a League Cup tie against Celtic at Parkhead aged 15 years and 233 days.

It’s a club record that still stands to this very day, and you can learn about the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s shcok breakthrough by picking up a copy of tomorrow’s programme.
