Reserve campaign kicks off at Falkirk on Monday

John Sutton’s development squad kick off the inaugural SPFL Reserve League One season with an away fixture against Falkirk this coming Monday.

A new reserve structure replaced the regional Under-20s development leagues this summer and Morton were included in the top-tier of the revamped set-up alongside the likes of Aberdeen, Celtic, Hearts, Hibs and Rangers.

Sutton’s side open the campaign with an away clash against the Bairns reserves next week. Fixtures are provisionally set to be staged in the afternoon and kick-off at the Falkirk Stadium is 2pm.
