Ross MacLean returns to Motherwell

We can today confirm that Ross MacLean has returned to Motherwell after his parent club exercised their recall option on the loan forward.

Ross made 13 starts, eight substitute appearances, and scored two goals during his six-month stay and we thank him for his efforts in his time at Cappielow.

Manager Jonatan Johansson said: “I want to take this opportunity to thank Ross for all his hard work and wish him well in his future career.

“I have known Ross since he was 16 years old. He is someone I have a lot of time for and I respect the decision made by his parent club and the player himself.”
