Jags double was all in a day’s work for Bob

Morton striker Bob McHugh has been christened ‘Bob the Builder’ by the manager’s son and said two goals and three points against Partick Thistle was all in a day’s work.

Gaffer Jonatan Johansson arrived home to hear his son, Jonathan junior, singing the animated kids’ television show theme song in tribute to McHugh ‘fixing it’ by scoring the winner in a recent match against Falkirk.

The Ton boss mentioned the tale in his programme notes on Saturday, and Bob, who took his tally to four in four outings with his Jags double, says he’d be happy to hear the song regularly as it would mean he’s scoring goals.
