Sutton frustrated to draw a blank in Dumfries

Head of development squad John Sutton admitted he was frustrated to draw a blank in Monday’s goalless draw with Queen of the South in Reserve League One.

The former striker says his young team had enough of the ball and needed to be more clinical in front of goal, but also adds that they have done well defenslively and that the second clean sheet in three matches was a positive.

Sutton also discusses a strong penalty claim for a challenge on Ruaridh Langan, the progress of Nigeria-born centre-half Daniel Martins, and his involvement with the first-team at Partick Thistle this past Saturday.
