Sutton: We showed our quality against Celtic

Head of development squad John Sutton praised his Morton reserve side for showing their quality against Celtic yesterday and said he felt they may have even been worth more than a 3-1 win.

First-half goals from Blair Docherty, Alexander Easdale, and Reece Lyon saw the Cappielow kids pick up three points against illustrious opponents including international players such as Kundai Benyu and Daniel Arzani.

Former striker Sutton was delighted with the all-round performance and paid tribute to every single player by insisting they all excelled against the Parkhead outfit.
