Tam delighted landmark strike was game decider

Matchwinner Thomas O’Ware was chuffed his 25th goal for Morton also counted for something tangible for the whole club after it proved the difference between one point and three away at Dumbarton on Tuesday evening.

The rescheduled fixture looked to be heading for stalemate but O’Ware always felt the first side to score would be the winner and so was chuffed his quarter-century strike had that added significance.

O’Ware reckons Ton won the battle, speaks about Conor Brennan’s impressive debut, the team being adaptable enough to switch between a back three and four mid-match, and the squad’s strong defensive record.
