Tiffoney returns as Tennent departs

Scott Tiffoney has returned to the club after an emergency loan with Clyde, while John Tennent has been allowed to leave Cappielow following the expiry of his contract.

Winger Tiffoney joined the Bully Wee on 10 November and went on to make three starts and three sub appearances over the course of his short spell at Broadwood.

Defender Tennent, meanwhile, departs. A right-back or centre-half, John is a product of the club’s youth academy and was a regular starter as Andy Millen’s group claimed the Development League West crown last season.

The 19-year-old, who spent time out on loan at Cumbernauld Colts earlier this term, made one senior appearance, coming on as a late substitute in last season’s 3-1 loss to Rangers at Ibrox on Friday 11 March 2016.

We at Morton would like to thank John for his efforts in his time with the club and wish him all the best in his future career.
